My brother and his partner Nick got married earlier this year, and if course I was straight in there volunteering to design and illustrate their wedding stationery. As my brother is obsessed with his cat and Nick is a keen bird-watcher, they wanted both of these creatures featured. We used a kraft paper and one colour print to match the earthy tones of their wedding palette.
We loved the personalised design Heather created for us, it made the invite feel really special and our friends loved it

The Summer Masked Ball has only just taken place, but they're already on to organising the next one at Flambards in Helston... this year's halloween themed one will be The Lost Boys. One of my favourite films as a kid! And I was quite in love with Keifer Sutherland and desperately wanted to be a vampire. However, my occupation led me to become a graphic designer rather than a vampire, but hey c'est la vie.
Here is a visual of the typography I've just completed to advertise the event. With a brief from Alec Short of Rolling Sixes (who organise The Masked Ball every year) and illustrations by the talented Tarkus Blackmore, I set about creating a run-down fairground sign for the website.
